Our family loved this excursion . The staff , especially Paco, were friendly informative and helpful . They made sure to give us all the assistance we needed to make sure we fully enjoyed our paddle boarding. We all had a
great time. We also snorkeled and took the tour of the tequilia factory it was a great day !

It was perfect from the start. I have been thinking of buying a SUP and I thought this would be a perfect opportunity. Not only did I have a lesson but was able to paddle on my own for about 45 minutes. The guides were very helpful , giving us pointers along the way. After we paddled we were fitted with snorkel gear and swam with our guide and about 100 beautiful fish of all colors. Our guide would dive to the bottom and bring up sea rays, star fish, and conch shells for us to see and hold!! Again, our guides were the best!!! Must eat at the onsite restaurant. The fish tacos were outstanding! I rate this a 10plus

If you ever wanted to really explore a cave this is the excursion for you. The cave is kept in pristine condition by having small group guided tours. The cave and jungle are kept natural and are not over developed and touristy.

You will walk, wade and swim through this cave. A wet suite, helmet with light, water shoes, and flotation vest are all provided. So you do not need to know how to swim! The cave and water are a constant 77 degrees. Make no mistake this is a real cave exploration! The tour uses a path that is relatively easy to negotiate but if you have mobility issues this tour is not for you.

Our guide Benito was fantastic. You can tell he really loves this cave and wants to share its beauty with you while protecting it from damage. He explains the formations, shows you the cave life, i.e. blind fish, cat fish, and shrimp. He explains how it was discovered, the Mayan history of the cave, and its part in the system of caves in the peninsula.

A must do excursion.

We had an incredible time! For the first time ever, I zip lined, walked across a couple rope bridges, rappelled and snorkeled. I would never have been able to do it without the incredible encouragement of our extremely helpful guides. Felt that safety procedures were followed well the whole way through – made me feel very secure.

Excellent time had by all ages 42,38,18,15. Great family activity to do with teens. If I can figure out how to stand on a paddle board anyone can if they try. Great , caring, fun instructors. Snorkeling was fabulous, would have stayed longer if the boat would have been in port longer. We cant wait to do this again!!! It was the highlight of our New Years cruise on the Sunshine, it was a great way to spend the last day of 2013.

This tour was awesome! They were prompt on picking us up at the port, tour guides where all very professional and energized. I had so much fun ziplinning and the snorkeling was excellent too! Would highly reccomend this excursion to anyone wanting to have fun on the island with great guides!

I was a nervous-nelly on the paddle board and received a lot of help from the guides. I chose to sit one direction, but by the end, was standing. At the beginning, I wanted to quit, but the guides wouldn’t let me give up. They spent a good amount of time making me comfortable and encouraging me to keep trying. I ended up having a ton of fun! The snorkeling (something I was more comfortable with) was awesome. I fed the fish and held a lot of the sea life, which was very cool. After, my husband and I enjoyed the beach, had a few drinks and some food (which was delicious). It was the perfect amount of time, very clean, and the staff was great. Overall, it was a great day! I would definitely recommend this excursion and would do it again myself.

Excellent tour. My son and I had a lot of fun! Great instruction for the paddle boarding. We were both able to stand and enjoy the experience. Next was snorkeling and our guide showed us everything from puffer fish to spider star fish. Then we relaxed at the beautiful beachfront setting and had lunch in the restaurant – food and service was great. We finished the excursion with a tequila tasting before we were taken back to the ship. Highly recommend this tour!

This is something everyone who can needs to try and do at least once in their lifetime. You have to take the long ride through the jungle to reach this place but once your there it is worth it. You first get your wet suits, then the life vests, then the shoes and the hat. You have to hike to get you the caves for good solid walk but once your in the caves you forget everything. You will see nature at its finest. You enter the caves and shortly it is off into the cold water. That first step is a challenge since the water is cold. But once you are in it all is fine. You will be on dry land sometimes, you will be wading through water and you will have to swim at some points. After you get back you do have a very nice lunch. The people there are friendly and they try really hard to please. Great people and great place to go. Do not miss this.

This excursion was absolutely amazing! Once you’ve made the necessary travel via ferry to the mainland and bus into the jungle, you are quickly instructed to put on a wetsuit, helmet, and lifejacket. Take one of the walking sticks adjacent to the lifejackets; there are many moments of instability once in the caves. This is followed by a short stroll further into the jungle to one of the entrances of the caves. The caves are AMAZING!!!

Depending on the season (rainy vs dry), the excursion may be more swimming/floating than walking. There are no light fixtures within the caves other than the lights on the crown of the helmets, but this is generally adequate within the group. The water is initially cold, but one can quickly acclimate to it. The formations within the cave are absolutely stunning! Unlike other public caves with stalagtites and stalagmites within viewing distance, you are literally walking/swimming around them.

A photographer will occasionally take individual and couple/family photos throughout the swim. The guide will also give details about the discovery of the caves, mapping, size, etc at various points. The in-cave portion lasts about 1.25 hours, after which you take off the safety gear and wetsuit, change if desired and then sit down for a delicious lunch. Our lunch included a chicken soup, chips and salsa, 3 types of tamales, mashed potatoes, a chicken stew-like dish, hot sauces, water and lemonade. It definitely exceeds the description of “snack” and is authentically delicious. Overall, I would take this excursion again in a heartbeat.

This trip was a blast. If you have never tried SUP then this is a great trip. Guides were very instructive. Facilities were neat and clean. Water was nice and calm to try to stand on that board. Snorkeling that followed had plenty to see. Only a fifteen minute ride to the resort

I tried this excursion because I wanted to do something different and challenging. The guides and instructors were great and patient with me. I kept falling off my paddleboard but by the end I was doing well due to great instruction. I will say that paddleboarding requires a great core because you have to balance. After paddleboarding we did snorkle and that was nice. Overall this was a great excursion for the price and I enjoyed my experience.

We went at the end of May in 2013 and it was an excellent experience. Unlike some of the adventure excursions, this is perfect for children and first timers. The instructors were extremely nice and gave all of us a ton of attention. Isis was our main guide and she was excellent, all of the guides spoke very good English.

Very well organized. We met on the other side of the port and they put us in groups to ride a taxi to the place. The zipline/ropes course is not directly on the beach….sort of in the backyard of the facility…which I liked better than thinking it was on the beach. There were trees that provided shade. Nice! Water was provided (and needed). They were very helpful and attentive to each participant. An overall nice experience.

My niece and I did this excursion this past week. She stood right up and never fell off the paddle board. I chose to sit the entire time and it was like paddling a kayak. Not hard and a lot of fun. The staff was extremely professional and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. After paddle boarding, there was plenty of time to snorkel. They carried some fish food to ensure plenty of varieties of fish were seen. There is a restaurant on the premises where we enjoyed a snack after the water fun. I would definitely recommend this excursion!
Sophie – Sept. 2012
This was great for a beginner’s course. My 11 year old sailed through and loved every minute of it. I have to admit that my husband and I are out of shape but everyone at the course had patience with our physical condition. I would do this again and I would ask this group if they had a more challenging course later.
Brandon – Mar. 2012
Yes the towers are close together and are located in a courtyard, but this is very common for a beginner’s challenge course. Where I work we have several challenge courses and most are about this size, they may be placed different but close to this is size. If you are working with children, you don’t want to be daunting. And sometimes it helps Mama to have the first experience in a sheltered area.

We did the Adventure Park, Zip-Line and Snorkel Combo on a tour from our ship, Norweigan Sun. We had such a wonderful time, tried all if the zip-lines, the rope bridges, the rappelling and even climbing the rock wall. What a great tour, what a great day! Did the snorkeling too. We had Luis all to ourselves and he is a great guide, very patient and encouraging. Thanks Luis! We will definitely let people know about this tour and encourage them to give it a try!

My mom and I did the Adventure park, Zip line and Snorkel combo. The zip lining was awesome the guys guide you the entire time and it’s a thrilling experience, after that we got ready to snorkel where they provide you with fins and a snorkel mask. The snorkeling was our favorite part we got to see a lot of fishes, starfish, lobsters, stingray and more, plus the water was so refreshing. Then we got to dip in the beautiful crystal clear blue pool and eat at the resturant that they have right there on the site, the food was fresh and absolutely delicious and it was the perfect way to end the fun filled day we had, we would definitely do this again!!!! ^_^
